We understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule.

Clients who wish to change or cancel an appointment are kindly requested to provide 24hours notice or a 50% cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card.

A Blow Dry is not included in the cost of colours.

All prices are base rates and are subject to change according to hair length and thickness.

Online Booking Policy

Hairdressers at Work is a small local business that only has a limited number of appointments available. The time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you. When you book an appointment with Hairdressers at Work, we guarantee you this time and appoint a fully qualified and highly experienced professional to take care of your needs.


As a client when booking an online appointment, you will be required to provide an email address and mobile number and a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Your $50 deposit will then be credited to your final bill. Any cancellations or changes to the appointment must be communicated with more than 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be credited to your account for future bookings. In the case of a “no show” to your appointment you will forfeit 100% of your deposit and you will be required to pay the full amount of any future services at the time of booking. 

Bookings will be confirmed via text message or email prior to your booking date to your supplied contact number or email to which you are required to respond with “Yes” or “No”. If we receive no response from you one of our staff members will attempt to call you to confirm.


Hair salons like Hairdressers at Work find it almost impossible to fill cancelled/no show spots at short notice. Last minute cancellations/no shows do have a significant impact on Hairdressers at Work, their clients and team. We have found that our online booking policy is the fairest way of managing commitment to appointments and it also has the added benefit of keeping our costs down for our wonderful clients.


Please note online booking deposit refunds may take 24 hours to 5 working days to process when required.
